Google’s Gemini AI can now make 1080p videos and costs half as much

Google's Gemini AI, a video-generating model, has received an update that allows it to create 1080p videos, a significant improvement from its previous 720p capabilities. Additionally, the model can now generate videos in portrait format with a 9:16 aspect ratio. Alongside these enhancements, Google has reduced the pricing for both the Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast models. The cost of Veo 3 video has been cut from $0.75/second to $0.40/second, while the Veo 3 Fast model has seen a more substantial price drop from $0.40/second to $0.15/second. These changes make Gemini's video generation capabilities more accessible and affordable for users.
