TikTok is now letting everyone DM each other with voice memos and pictures

TikTok has introduced new features to its direct messaging (DM) function, allowing users to send voice messages and images. The update is part of the platform's effort to enhance the social experience. However, these features are only available to accounts 16 years and older, as TikTok has clarified. Users can now send voice messages and images, as well as videos up to one minute long, in their DMs. There are limitations, such as a maximum of nine images or videos per message, and a one-minute limit on voice memos and videos. The update aims to provide TikTok users with more ways to engage with each other on the platform.
