Lenovo Legion Go 2 hands-on: Powerful upgrades but with an even higher price

Lenovo has unveiled the Legion Go 2, an upgraded version of its flagship gaming handheld. The device retains the same overall design as the previous model, with an 8.8-inch OLED display, detachable controllers, and a vertical mouse mode. However, the internal upgrades are substantial, with the option to equip the device with an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip, 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. Additionally, the battery capacity has been increased by 50%, to 74Whr, promising longer battery life. Despite these improvements, the Legion Go 2 is expected to be significantly more expensive, starting at $1,049, which is a significant jump from the original's $700 base price. The author notes that while the Legion Go 2 is a more refined and powerful device, the higher price may make more affordable handheld rivals like the Steam Deck more appealing to some consumers.
