Ford introduces F-150 Lightning STX to replace XLT trim

Ford has introduced a new F-150 Lightning trim called the STX, which will replace the XLT in the lineup. The STX is aimed at addressing customer feedback, offering more range and performance than the standard XLT. The STX comes equipped with dual motors, an extended-range battery, and targets an EPA-estimated 290 miles of range. It boasts 536 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque, as well as a standard rear e-locking differential. Ford has also added rugged features, including off-road running boards, new wheels, and all-terrain tires. Visually, the STX features a new grille, blue accent lines, and "STX" badging. Customers can choose from a range of paint options, including two new colors: Argon Blue and Marsh Gray. The STX will also offer a black vinyl floor for added protection. Ford expects the STX to be a top-seller based on internal projections, and it will be available at dealers in early 2026 with a starting price of $63,345.
