Ford's F-150 Lightning STX replaces the XLT while boosting range and power

Ford has introduced a new variant of its F-150 Lightning electric pickup, called the STX. The STX replaces the current XLT model at the same starting price of $63,345. The new variant offers enhanced range and power compared to the XLT. The STX features a dual-motor system that delivers 536 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque, an increase from the XLT's 452 horsepower. The range has also been extended to 290 miles, up from 240 miles on the XLT. Cosmetically, the STX trim adds rugged features like off-road wheels, all-terrain tires, and running boards from the F-150 Tremor. It also features a new grille, blue accent lines, and STX badging throughout. The STX will be available in two new colors: Argon Blue and Marsh Gray. Ford expects the F-150 Lightning STX to be its top-selling model next year, responding to customer demand for a more rugged and capable electric pickup. The new model is set to arrive at Ford dealerships early next year.
