Classic Sesame Street episodes are coming to YouTube

YouTube is set to host hundreds of classic Sesame Street episodes starting in January 2026, making it the largest digital library of the popular children's program. This move comes as YouTube continues to expand its kid-friendly content, with popular channels like Cocomelon and Ms. Rachel already attracting a large following. Additionally, Netflix will begin airing new episodes of Sesame Street starting November 10th. These new episodes will feature a "fresh format," with a focus on single 11-minute stories, and will be available on both Netflix and PBS platforms on the same day. The announcement comes after Warner Bros. Discovery's decision not to renew its deal with Sesame Workshop to air new Sesame Street episodes on the streaming service previously known as HBO Max.
