JBL's Grip Bluetooth speaker doubles as a snazzy reading light
JBL has announced a new portable Bluetooth speaker called the Grip, which features a rope hook for easy attachment to various items. The speaker offers customizable ambient lighting, making it suitable for late-night reading as a bedside companion. It promises "pro sound" and "fuller volume" compared to rival speakers, with multi-speaker connectivity via Auracast. The battery life is up to 14 hours per charge, and the speaker is IP68 waterproof and dustproof, as well as drop-proof. The JBL Grip is priced at $100 and is available in multiple color options, with pre-orders open now and shipments starting on September 28.
