Nothing busted using professional photos as Phone 3 samples

Nothing, a tech company, has been accused of using professional stock photos as samples for their upcoming Phone 3 device. An investigation by The Verge revealed that five images, which Nothing claimed were captured by the Phone 3, were actually licensed photos taken with other cameras and purchased from the Stills stock photo marketplace. The Verge has confirmed the authenticity of the stock images through the EXIF data, which indicates that the photos were taken in 2023, well before the Phone 3's release. One of the photographers has anonymously verified that the image was not captured using the Phone 3. This revelation raises concerns about Nothing's marketing practices and the transparency of their product demonstrations. The use of stock images as sample photos may mislead consumers about the actual capabilities of the Phone 3 camera.
