This liquid-cooled projector promises an incredibly bright 6,200 lumen image

Dangbei, a Chinese tech company, is bringing its S7 Ultra Max all-in-one projector to the IFA tech show in Berlin, indicating a potential global launch. The projector boasts a remarkably bright 6,200 ISO lumen output, achieved through the use of 48 RGB laser units. It also features Dolby Vision/HDR10+ support for high-quality visuals. The projector was initially announced in China with a claimed 5,800 CVIA lumen output, which is typically higher than the stricter ISO and ANSI standards. The company's new claim of 6,200 ISO lumens raises some skepticism, and the true brightness performance will be evaluated at the upcoming event. Like the Anker Nebula X1 projector, the S7 Ultra Max is liquid-cooled to manage the heat generated by its projection technology, while also keeping the noise level down to a quiet 24dB. Additional features include dual 15W speakers, an 8,000:1 native contrast ratio, a versatile swiveling and rotating base, and automatic focus, keystone correction, and screen alignment. The projector is priced at 15,999 yuan, which converts to around $2,250. The actual performance and value proposition of the S7 Ultra Max will be further assessed at the IFA tech show.
