Porsche and Audi's EVs can now recharge on any Tesla Supercharger in North America

Porsche and Audi, subsidiaries of Volkswagen Group, will now allow their electric vehicle owners to charge their cars at Tesla Superchargers across North America. Starting September 9, Porsche and Audi owners will be able to use a free adapter to connect their vehicles to the Tesla Supercharger network, which uses the NACS (North American Charging Standard) port developed by Tesla. This move comes after Volkswagen Group announced its plans to implement NACS compatibility for its brands, including Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Scout Motors, by December 2023. While Porsche and Audi are embracing the Supercharger network, Volkswagen Group's other subsidiaries, such as Lamborghini and Bentley, have not yet committed to adopting NACS.
