Blade Runner 2099 will reportedly be released next year on Prime Video
Amazon's Blade Runner limited series, titled "Blade Runner 2099," is set to be released in 2026 on Prime Video. The series is a sequel to the 2017 film "Blade Runner 2049" and will take place 50 years after the events of that film. The story details remain unknown, but Ridley Scott is involved in the production. The series will star Michelle Yeoh, Hunter Schafer, Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben, Katelyn Rose Downey, and Daniel Rigby. The news of the release window was revealed in an internal memo obtained by Deadline, which also reported that the series is currently in post-production.
