Google Nest Camera and Doorbell leak shows off new colors and 2K video recording

Google's upcoming Nest Cams and Doorbell are set to receive several upgrades, according to a report from Android Headlines. The battery-powered Nest Cam and its indoor-only counterpart may feature new colors, including a "berry" red option for the indoor version. Additionally, the next-generation Nest Cam is rumored to be upgraded from 1080p to 2K video recording. The report also suggests that the Nest Doorbell will gain 2K video capabilities and new AI-powered "Daily Summaries" that offer daily recaps of recorded events. The upcoming Google Home Speaker, which was briefly showcased during the Pixel 10 launch event, is said to feature 360-degree audio and a "Sound Sensing" feature that can detect and alert users to certain noises. Furthermore, Google is reportedly planning to change the name of its Nest Aware subscription to "Google Home Premium," with a new "Google Home Premium Advanced" tier also in the works. Additionally, the current Google Home app is receiving several updates to improve camera management, including new preview snapshots and better live camera playback.
