Xbox is coming to cars thanks to an LG and Microsoft partnership

Microsoft and LG have partnered to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to internet-connected vehicles. The new Xbox app will be available on cars that use LG's Automotive Content Platform (ACP), allowing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to access cloud-based Xbox games directly on in-car screens. The Xbox app can be used for streaming games while charging an electric vehicle or entertaining passengers during road trips. LG's ACP, which runs on the webOS platform, will provide access to a variety of content, including Netflix, Disney Plus, and YouTube. Microsoft's partnership with LG to bring the Xbox app to smart TVs has now been extended to compatible cars, as the company prepares to expand Xbox Cloud Gaming to Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers. Furthermore, Microsoft has announced its return to the Tokyo Game Show, where it is expected to unveil the highly anticipated Forza Horizon 6, set in Japan.
