Spotify brings ultra-quality ‘lossless audio’ to all Premium subscribers

Spotify has launched lossless audio, offering 24-bit, 44.1 kHz music streaming to all Spotify Premium subscribers. This feature will be available on mobile devices, computers, and tablets, as well as on speakers from various brands like Bose, Samsung, Sennheiser, and Sony. Support for Amazon and Sonos speakers is expected to come next month. Spotify recommends using lossless audio only when connected to Wi-Fi and wired headphones or speakers, as Bluetooth connections may not have sufficient bandwidth to support the higher-quality audio. The rollout of lossless audio is currently underway, with subscribers in several countries, including Australia, the US, and the UK, already gaining access to the feature.
